BANANNA SHRUB
Have you ever smelled a bananna shrub? When they are blooming the whole yard smells like the bananna kisses we ate as children. The correct name is magnolia fuscata. I don't know why it is called a shrub, because here in the South they are evergreen trees. The bloom is small, and most people don't notice it until they are right in front of it.
