The roses are beginning to bloom, the first picture is behind the extension office. The 4-H kids planted this several years ago- I think it is Cecille Brunner. This bed has soil that is hard as a rock- even though we have ammended it and mulched numerous times. In the summer it gets weeds- and we have used probably ten gallons of round up -nothing seems to help!
The second picture is a rose at my house-I got it from the Antique Rose Emporium- it blooms all summer and as you can see it has fallen over- it is so heavy with buds. I think it is Katie Road Pink.
