LARRY'S GARDEN

Isn't this a peaceful country setting? This is Mr. Larry's yard-yes he has a big space to garden in. This is from in the yard looking out to the road.
That is a very healthy looking asparagus fern. Love the backdrop of the yellow sundrops.
Old Moss Rose, an heirloom plant for sure.
Cheerful looking daylillies-almost as if they have their little faces turned up to you.
A little fun in the garden never hurt anybody.
No it surely doesn't.

A COUNTRY GARDEN

I recently visited Ms. Lynn in her country garden. I love country gardens or cottage gardens. People that have this kind of garden are real dig in the dirt gardeners. They do not adhere to a landscape plan, they just find an empty place and plant. Felder Rushing's mother used to call them stuff and cram gardens. Now most people would divide this canna-but why- it makes a great statement just like this!

Rose Campion, a lovely plant but not used much.
Indian Paintbrush-great wildflower-everyone needs this.Lot's of old fashioned plants in this country garden.

BEAUTIFUL HOSTAS

If you can't grow hostas in the ground, plant them in pots they make lovely pot plants. Of course our new Master Gardener Paula has a wonderful garden full of hostas, but has made some focal points in the beds.
