The Master Gardeners have been busy this week. We all met at Paula's to prune her many roses-of course we had to slosh around-we have had some kind of rain!
On Saturday we went to a District meeting-had a great time.

EVERY KIND OF WEATHER

It's a  New Year and I hope it has been a good one for you so far.We have had every kind of weather here in Central Ms. already this year. From seemingly weeks of rain, to a one day snow ,to spring like sunny days. Some of us have been able to get out on the nice days and prune or rake or pick up sticks. The sweet peas and english peas are up at my house and daffodils are blooming along with spring flowering shrubs. I hope my brussell sprouts will finish making, the broccoli has already gone to seed.Seems like everyone is jumping the gun and planting seeds indoors-hope they don't get too leggy before being put out.According to the old timers we are going to have lots of frost in April, because it has thundered so much this month-we will see....
