IN THE GARDEN

Got my creole tomatoes ready to repot in larger containers. I think I will wait to put them in the ground , I am still not convinced that we won't have more cold weather, though at 87 degrees today, I may be wrong. The hostas are coming up nicely. These daffodils are some I did not get in the ground until February, but they still put on quite a show.It won't be long until the banana shrub is blooming and scenting the whole yard-can't wait.

FORSYTHIA

Not much going on in the gardens here, still too wet and mucky from recent heavy rains. It drives me crazy to not be able to work outside when the temps are in the seventies and eighties! Anyway the forsythia has been amazing beautiful this year!

THE GARDEN IS WAKING UP

The garden is waking up from it's winter nap. There is lot's to do,between cool snaps and rains. The fish in my pond have been very active and very hungry lately. One of them is suspiciously plump-maybe little ones on the way?

DAFFODILS

Due to the unusually warm-almost hot weather we have been having, most of the daffodils have bloomed out. There will be a few later ones of course, but for our area they are almost gone. Now we can look forward to the phlox and dogwood, etc.
